Jason Schroeder recently joined Avalon as Regional Vice President and will be responsible for assisting, guiding, managing, and leading sales efforts at our Tampa, FL; Omaha, NE; Phoenix, AZ; Rochester, NY; and Syracuse/Utica, NY, locations.

“It is difficult to express how thrilled I am that Jason has ultimately decided to join Team Avalon, after he entertained multiple options,” says CSO, Chris Haag. “I am very excited for all those who will directly, and indirectly, benefit from Jason’s extensive experience, background, and positive leadership style.”

Jason brings 20+ years of experience in litigation support and document-related technologies to our team. While he began his career running printing presses for United Media comics – including the beloved Peanuts comic strip – he soon moved into a law firm where he launched their internal scanning/imaging department. Next, it was back to the vendor side, where his background in technology helped him transform a traditional printing company into one that offered additional litigation support services like scanning and eDiscovery, before being absorbed by D4/Special Counsel. At D4, he held a variety of strategic positions, including Director – Local Discovery Centers, Managing Partner, Discovery Engineer, and Senior Project Manager.

He explains why he made the move to Avalon: “I knew other people from D4 who joined Avalon and I was truthfully getting jealous of hearing how successful they were,” he says. “I kept hearing about all the great things going on – even through COVID. And they would talk about the culture; that Avalon really cares about their internal team members, as well as their clients. It made me feel that this is where I belong.”

If Jason isn’t hard at work providing top-notch service to Avalon’s clients, he’s most likely at a youth ice hockey rink cheering on his kids.
